Hello from these adorable birdies from The Stamps of Life August 2020 Card kit. There's something about sneaking away for a few minutes to create something cute. Sneaking away from the boys ( I have THREE you know - plus my main man! ) and their wrestling and "Mama! Mama! Mama! Mama!" and the constant pile of laundry and dishes. All are blessings and answers to prayers, don't get me wrong! But just a moment... to think about something. A moment to complete something. And then to step back and see that it's cute. And that it'll actually stay that way... unless the baby gets his hands on it then it will most definitely be altered... and partially digested ( sheesh!).
I put this card together using a set of dies that were "freebies" included in this month's kit. The unique thing about these dies is that they don't actually cut out the circle. They just add these stitch lines. So I organized them on the white cardstock background and ran them through my Big Shot. Next, I die cut the birdies out of the included patterned paper with August's birds2stamp die and stamp set, find those stamps here, and the dies here, along with the perch they are standing on and organized and adhered them just so. There are additional add ons to this set, which are called morebirdies2stamp, that include two other birdies in different positions here and another sentiment set here. I am sharing one card everyday over on my instagram so head on over and follow candaces_canvases if you aren't already!
Stephanie makes it incredible easy to slap a card together with all her coordinating colors, stamps, dies and accessories. You can make a unique handmade card in as little as five minutes or, take as long as you'd like customizing all the little details.
Praying all is well and you are staying safe!
Inky hugs and blessings,
